Final Degree Project

The project consists of the design of an infant and primary school. It is located in the coastal ressort of Can Picafort, in a large bay in the north of the island of Mallorca. The idea for the project came from the demand of the parents and teachers of the existing school.

Besides providing a multipurpose school for 450 students, it also intends to create a new space for the local population via an interior plaza. This space would be used outside school hours.

The design is intended to create a relationship with the traditional construction of Mallorca, i.e. its distribution, vegetation and materials.
